The Halifax Charity Gala welcomes upto 10,000 people to Manor Heath Park each year, with many hundreds more along the route of the Grand Procession. Get your business known to these potential customers while supporting our community. The Halifax Charity Gala has a number of ways in which you can promote your business whilst showing them you are keen to support our local community.
Below is our price list but we are open to discussions around packages and variations on prices if the committee feel there is benefits in other areas as well.
We have a 'pick and mix' approach to sponsorship, catering to large and small businesses.

Procession |

Place a vehicle in our grand procession through a busy Halifax town centre on Saturday at lunch time with 1000's lining the streets. |
1. Support us with your staff time - volunteer stewards from your business to set up, take down, or help us operate on the day. We're a small band of committee volunteers, co-ordinating support from our local community. As the saying goes, 'All Hands On Deck'!
We provide refreshments on the day for our volunteers as a 'thank you'

2. Arena sponsorship - examples include music license, prize monies, entertainment acts
3. Procession sponsorship - examples include any traffic management costs, band costs, licenses
4. Facilities sponsorship - examples include costs for hiring toilets, marquees, first aid
5. Entertainments sponsorship - Giving people memories...To complement our charity participant entries - we welcome family friendly, colourful, attractive, vibrant, traditional entertainments, but the amount of paid entertainment depends wholly on the budget.

6. Printing, publicity and program sponsorship
Each year we produce high quality, colour programs, tickets, A3/A4/A5 posters and flyers, website presence included.
Posters / flyers distributed to local schools, in local businesses, town centres etc
7. Sell tickets or operate a stall on behalf of the Committee
Bring a great idea and we'll consider it. Holiday Hamster's giant hamster and West Yorkshire 4x4 vehicle raffle are examples of recent great ideas.
This is a popular event with multiple sponsors - as such, we regularly rotate our sponsors to give maximum opportunities for as many sponsors as possible.
All sponsorships require businesses to provide their own marketing where possible unless included in a sponsorship deal. All marketing materials are subject to Committee approval (for reasons of health and safety or appropriateness at this popular family event).
Sponsorship can be recognised on our website, in our program, via our social media, by our PA provider on Gala day.
A business word regarding sponsorship. Halifax Gala Committee is a constituted group with a bank account. We are not a registered charity. Where unsure if a charity payment qualifies as a sponsorship payment or a donation, businesses can contact the HMRC Charities helpline on 0300 123 1073.
Donations / sponsorship in kind may also include any paid staff you might 'sponsor / donate' time to the event, though we also welcome volunteers in the true sense of the meaning.
