The Halifax Charity Gala is run entirely by volunteers — and we’re always looking for more amazing people to help us grow and keep this wonderful event going for another 60+ years!
We have a variety of roles to suit everyone. Whether you bring fresh ideas and skills or want to gain experience and learn from being part of a large community event, there’s a place for you on our team.
It takes time and teamwork to make the Gala happen, but we believe everyone on our committee finds it a truly rewarding experience.
We won’t turn anyone away just because a skillset doesn’t match a specific role — instead, we’ll adapt roles to suit you and make sure you feel welcome as part of our Gala family.
We’re not a big team — we’re more like a family, all striving for the same goal: a sunny, successful Gala where our local groups and charities can share their causes with the thousands of visitors who come through our gates each year.
